Being a twin is awesome—you always have a best friend to share everything with: Your clothes, your secrets, and, if you’re identical, your looks! There’s truly a special bond between those who shared a womb.

However, there are certain things that don’t typically condone sharing, even when you’re an identical twin. One of those things, we’d imagine, is the person you’re dating.

But that isn’t the case for the DeCinque twins, AKA, the “world’s most identical twins.” Anna and Lucy both share literally everything—including their boyfriend, Ben Byrne.

What’s more is the two want to take the relationship to the next step and actually marry Ben—yes, BOTH of them! Unfortunately for the twins, who live in Australia, polygamy, or having more than one wife, is banned under the Marriage Act 1961 in the country.

“If we can change the government we would love to marry Ben,” the two said on Today. “I think we should marry the same man. This is what works for us. People need to get that. We aren’t hurting us.”

What about Ben though? How does he feel about dating twins? When people look at it from an outside perspective, it seems obvious that he’s just in it for the kinky double-girlfriend, right?

Anna and Lucy say that they didn’t choose to date just anyone. When they were talking with Ben initially, they had to make sure that he was right for the situation, and they deemed him to be.

“We knew some guys might think it was kinky to date twins and see us as a trophy, so we had to feel sure that Ben genuinely liked both of us before we agreed to meet him,” they said.

After about a year of dating Ben, he moved in with Anna and Lucy (and their mother) and they’ve been living together ever since.

They certainly seem happy, but we still have a lot of questions, namely, how do these girls not feel jealous of their sibling every time Ben hugs or kisses the other?

“Ben treats us completely equally. If he kisses Anna, he kisses me right after, and holds both our hands when we’re out,” Lucy said. “We never feel jealous because we know he loves us the same.”

The three also all sleep together, but “not like a threesome,” Lucy confirms. “We don’t get involved with each other. Some people say it’s disgusting, but it works for us.”

All right so even if the two can somehow marry Ben, then what happens? That’s where it gets even more interesting. Anna and Lucy have both recently revealed that they both want to get pregnant with Ben’s baby.

“Our mom’s actually convincing us to give birth naturally. I don’t know how that’s going to work. We need to be pregnant at the same time,” the twins said. “It’s going to be another challenge. There’s a lot of pressure on Ben.”
