Losing one family member can be extremely sad. Losing two close family members within just a few months can be quite devastating. Rod Stewart is dealing with such a loss.
Back in September, Rod announced the death of his brother, Don Stewart, who died just two days before Queen Elizabeth II. Rod mourned both of their deaths on Instagram by posting a picture of a crown and captioning the post, “It has been a devastating 48 hours. We lost my brother Don on Tuesday at 94 and today we have all lost Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at 96.”

Less than two months after his brother Don’s death, Rod is now also mourning the loss of his other brother’s death. Bob Stewart died on Wednesday November 30, 2022. Once again, Rod turned to Instagram to announce his brother’s passing. He posted a picture of a candle flame along with the words “Rest in Peace.” He captioned the photo, “It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky.” Rod added, “I’ve lost two of my best mates in the space of two months.RIP Don and Bob ‘irreplaceable buddies’ Sir Rod Stewart.”

Rod’s family includes five siblings. He is the youngest. His older sisters Peggy and Mary are still alive.
