Phase 1 of ‘The Brady Bunch’ House Renovation Has Been Revealed

Here’s the story…of a home renovation

If you’re a Brady Bunch fan, then you’re probably pretty familiar with Carol and Mike Brady’s iconic home that they raised their mixed set of three boys and three girls in on the popular show.

But, like most houses that were built in the 60s and 70s, it’s about that time for the house to be renovated. And what better way to get the job done than to have HGTV stars and the original surviving cast of the Brady Bunch themselves work on it together?

That’s where “A Very Brady Renovation” a new four-episode HGTV series, comes into play. The show will highlight the entire renovation of the classic Studio City, California home by none other than the crew who once “lived” there, along with help from reno experts, Property Brothers, Jonathan and Drew Scott.

Each week, a new episode of A Very Brady Renovation will highlight a different room in the home and focus on just what can be expected from the renovation. The final premiere will reveal the entire house rethought for 2019.

The show, which premiered September 9, is officially underway, with the first episode focusing on how to update the exterior restoration, as well as the foyer, living room and iconic staircase where the Bradys always lined up.

On the very first episode, Maureen McCormick (Marcia) Chris Knight (Peter) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) all joined the Property Brothers to begin phase one of the renovation, and the rest—Eve Plumb (Jan), Barry Williams (Greg) and Mike Lookinland (Bobby) will show their faces on upcoming episodes.

It’s a total blast from the past for anyone who wants to feel nostalgic—but who also loves watching a good home renovation. You can view new episodes of A Very Brady Renovation Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on HGTV!
