Jenna Bush Hager Has Announced That She’s “Very Pregnant” With Third Child

Spring is in the air and so is baby fever! Former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager just announced that she is pregnant with her third child, and it seems like her daughters are the most excited.

She made the announcement just one day after Easter, remarking that she and her husband, Henry Hager, told their kids by surprising them in their Easter baskets. The girls could barely contain their excitement and began sharing the news with people they ran into, so the couple decided to share it publicly.

Big sisters Mila, 6, and Poppy, 3, can’t wait. Bush Hager shared the announcement on Today, purposely waiting until it was 10:00 to tell fans the baby’s gender. If you want to know, you’ll have to watch the video.

Bush Hager is five-and-half months along but did not share her due date. Coincidentally, this will be the third grandchild for former president and first lady George and Laura Bush. She told host Meredith Vieria:

“We weren’t really trying to get pregnant. We had some fertility issues with Poppy. It’s a little bit of a shock but it’s such great news.”

Fellow Today show anchor Hoda Kotb also made headlines last week when she shared she adopted a second child, Hope Catherine, with partner Joel Schiffman. The new baby is only a few weeks old.
