‘Game of Thrones’ Star Has 2 Words for Fans Who’ve Signed the Petition to Rewrite Season 8 of the Show

A few days ago, the fan-made petition demanding that Game of Thrones season 8 be done over went viral. It has now amassed more than 850,000 signatures and word has gotten around in Hollywood.

Disappointed and/or angry fans meant to send a message to the GOT team that they are not happy with the direction of the season and the directors in charge. But one of show’s cast members – who viewers will recognize as Grey Worm – has a simple opinion on the petition.

Jacob Anderson was tracked down by TMZ while hanging out and signing autographs in the Big Apple and was asked several quick questions by the outlet. His thoughts on fans being unhappy with the show this season?

Two words: that sucks. The petition itself lodged complaints about the directors and the writing, but the likelihood of anything being done over is zilch. In addition to not being practical, many cast members already have new projects lined up.

Anderson’s opinion was way less vocal than Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart, who sounded off in social media comments about the petition. She said that’s not how TV works and called the idea of remaking the whole GOT season “ridiculous.”

“TV shows are not fan service. It’s ridiculous of people to think they can demand creative change from artists.”

As for Anderson, the Brit is happy with how Grey Worm’s story ended and will be focusing on his music career as “Raleigh Ritchie.” Get the scoop on Grey Worm below.

Do you think actors should weigh in on the petition? Are you ready to say goodbye to this season of Game of Thrones?
