Now You Can Get Whipped Cream That Tastes Like Chocolate Bars and Peanut Butter Cups

What’s better than an ice cream sundae after dinner? Especially loaded up with all the toppings: Sprinkles, caramel, and of course whipped cream—all on top of a couple scoops of chocolate or peanut butter ice cream. That’s our dream dessert.

Well, until we heard about some new flavors of whipped cream that just hit some grocery store shelves. Forget the chocolate and peanut butter ice cream—how about whipped cream that actually tastes like chocolate or peanut butter? No, we’re not trying to tease you. It’s a real thing, and it’s truly the best of both worlds.

Introducing Hershey’s and Reese’s whipped cream. The former tastes just like the actual Hershey’s chocolate bar, and the latter tastes exactly like its candy counterpart. The two fluffy toppings aren’t just great for ice cream—you can use it to elevate all sorts of foods and meals.

“Hershey’s Milk Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Dairy Whipped Toppings bring a touch of sweetness to beverages like hot chocolate or coffee, are the perfect way to cap off a scoop of ice cream and can take your favorite cake or other baked good to the next level,” Kraft-Heinz said in a statement. “They can also pump up waffles, pancakes, and other breakfast foods, or even add a burst of milk chocolate or peanut butter goodness to fruits, including bananas or apples.”

They just left out eating it straight from the canno shame in your whipped cream game. There’s no guilt either. Surprisingly, both new flavors are relatively healthy. They’re made without high-fructose corn syrup, oil ingredients, or any artificial sweeteners or flavors, like other whipped creams such as Reddi Whip are.

The two new cans are also made with 100 percent real cream from cows not treated with rBST growth hormone. And the Hershey’s chocolate one is actually made with real Hershey’s cocoa. Dang. We’re impressed.

Though Reddi Whip has a decent amount of garbage in it, the company did just launch a new line of dairy-free whipped creams made with almond and coconut milk, so they have less fat than its predecessor. So basically what we’re telling you is healthy(er) whipped cream is a thing now and readily available to you. So you can enjoy the creamy goodness without feeling like you’re on a sugar high.

Perhaps the best part is the new flavors retail $2.99 to $3.99 a 7-ounce can, so it’s pretty in-line with the rest of the whipped cream gang, and totally affordable. Right now, they’re just available at popular Midwest supermarket Hy-Vee, but should be coming to other stores in the US very soon. Keep an eye out!

Honestly, we think this is the best invention ever. It totally takes us back to our childhood, and we can’t wait to use it to spruce up some of our next meals.
