We love watching game shows for a couple reasons but mainly because it’s fun to play along. We love to see if we can guess the right answer before the contestants.

Sometimes we’re very impressed with the contestants on game shows and know that we definitely could not have done better. For example, on the game show “Wheel of Fortune” there are many times contestants have guessed correctly with minimal letters of the board.

Not everyone is good at solving every puzzle, and sometimes contestants on game shows give answers that are very, very wrong, so wrong that almost everyone watching at home knows the answer.

On a recent episode of “Wheel of Fortune,” it was a contestant named Shafi’s turn to try to solve the puzzle. The category for the puzzle was “Song Lyrics,” and almost all of the letters for the puzzle were on the board. There were only three letters that had not been filled in.

The puzzle read “THI_ _AND _HAS MADE FOR YOU AND ME.” Shafi answered, “This band has made for you and me.”

The next contestant answered the puzzle correctly, “This land was made for you and me.”

It had to have been a major face palm moment for Shafi, whose answer to the puzzle was so wrong that it left many people on Twitter making fun of his wrong answer.

One Twitter user even suggested that perhaps there should be a “test” that contestants take before they’re allowed on the show.

Another Twitter user pointed out that even though Shafi’s answer was wrong, he probably didn’t feel too bad about his mistake in the end.

In the end, Shafi got the last laugh because he went on to win the bonus round and walked away with $71,150.

Do you like to play along with game shows? Would you ever want to be on a game show? Do you usually know the answers to puzzles like on the show “Wheel of Fortune”?
