Someone Remade ‘Titanic’ With a Cat and It’s As Amazing As You Think

We all have to admit: Titanic is a pretty good film. The 1997 James Cameron classic has been awarded Academy Awards, Golden Globes and 14 Oscar nominations and 11 wins including Best Picture. The only thing that could make it even better? If Jack had a cat that followed him around wherever he went.

Okay, not really—but hear us out! Someone remade the trailer for the film with their cat, and it’s probably the best thing you’re going to see all day.

The star of the clip nis OwlKitty, aka “your favorite movie kitty,” according to her website (because she does indeed have her very own website). Her real name is Lizzy and is a 5-year-old kitty living in Portland, Oregon. Her claim to fame is starring in all kinds of films that you never knew needed a black floofy cat in them.

On top of Titanic, OwlKitty has So far, OwlKitty appeared in her own rendition of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, How to Train your Dragon, The Shining 50 Shades of Gray and Risky Business. You may also see her in Game of Thrones, Ariana Grande’s music video and Red Dead Redemption 2. They’re literally incredible—her appearances look SO real and make everything a million times better and more hilarious.

In the highly talked-about Titanic version, we see OwlKitty take the place of Rose and go with Jack everywhere. OwlKitty is with Jack through it all—dolphin watching off the ship, dancing at the bar…he even draws OwlKitty “as one of his French girls” (or is it French cats?) the way he did with Rose in the real film. OwlKitty is there during Titanic’s demise too, and so much more. Celine Dion’s “Heart Will Go On” is playing the whole time, and it’s all just very perfect.

We’ve gotta say—the end is the best part though, when Rose finally makes her appearance. (The disgust is so real.) Check out the video below for the entire, hilarious video—and try not to laugh.
