Oprah Winfrey Opens Up About Relationship With Prince Harry and Her Own Childhood Trauma

Oprah Winfrey – she is definitely a household name. Her talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, was a sensation for 25 years. She interviewed a wide variety of guests and related to them on a deep level. Her compassion and joy radiated through the show and viewers came back wanting more.

When she heard guests explain their own stories, she had epiphanies about her own past. For example, she never realized that anyone else had experienced being raped by a family member until a guest shared a similar story on the show. While filming the show, Winfrey had an epiphany and admitted to the world that something similar happened to her.

Even though Winfrey didn’t have an easy childhood, she doesn’t regret her past. She appreciates that those difficult years helped her understand what other people are going through. It helped her care and have compassion in a way she may not have had otherwise.
