Kaley Cuoco has had a long and successful career in Hollywood, and she’s only 36. She got her started on the sitcom “Eight Simple Rules,” and then she went on to play “Penny” on the extraordinarily successful sitcom “The Big Bang Theory.” Now, she’s the star of the HBO Max show “The Flight Attendant” which earned her her very first Emmy nomination.

It would be easy to think that Cuoco is living her best life, but in a recent article in Glamour, she made it very clear that she has struggled with her mental health this past year. While her career is on fire, her personal life is rocky. She recently divorced her second husband, Karl Cook, and in the Glamour article she admitted that she was so stressed out while filming the second season of “The Flight Attendant” that she broke out in a rash due to stress alone.

Recently, Cuoco went on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” where she and Clarkson completely bonded on how difficult the past year has been for both of them. They have both gotten divorced. They both plan to never get married again. They both still believe in live and hope to find love again someday.

When speaking about the Glamour article, Cuoco told Clarkson, “This year, I wanted to be very upfront that it wasn’t my best year, and I’ve been very sad.” She added, “I just wanted to tell everyone this time that not everything is what it seems, and I struggle like everybody else. Because I do feel like I put on a really pretty picture, and I just wanted to be honest without whining.

She described feeling like she couldn’t ask anyone for help, but when she finally did ask for help, she was surprised how many people were there for her. She explained, “There were a lot of tears.”

Cuoco went on to explain how Zosia Mamet, who plays her best friend on “The Flight Attendant,” is also her best friend in real life. She told Clarkson, “She helped me so much through season two. She basically lived with me the last few months of shooting.” With tears in her eyes, she added, “I don’t think I would’ve gotten to work some days without her.”

Cuoco explained that Mamet would do to work even on days she didn’t have to be there simply because she knew Cuoco was “having a rough time” and she wanted to be there for her. They would have lunch together and hang out in Cuoco’s trailer. Cuoco added, “She’s the best. I’m very lucky that I had her.”
