Jonathan Scott Shares Photos of His ‘Special Trip’ to Hawaii With Girlfriend Zooey Deschanel

“Property Brothers” star Johnathan Scott has been dating actress Zooey Deschanel for a little over two years now. The couple first met on the set of the show “Carpool Karaoke.” Sparks started to fly almost immediately.

Two years later, the couple has quarantined together and even filmed a couple shows together. They look perfectly in love.

While parts of the United States are trying to recover from the devastation caused by a hurricane, Scott and Deschanel were about as far away from hurricane Ida as possible while still being in the United States. They took a “special trip” to Hawaii.

On Instagram, Scott posted multiple pictures of their vacation in Hawaii along with the caption, “There are those times when we feel the need to hold our loved ones even closer. This was a much needed, special trip.”

The photos include a selfie of the adorable couple, photos of the beautiful landscape and another photo of Scott and Deschanel with a gorgeous backdrop. It truly looks like they were soaking in every minute of their time in Hawaii.

One of Scott’s followers asked, “Was there a proposal involved on this trip? Because we are all patiently wAiting for it to happen!”

Although Scott called it a “special” trip and although the couple has been dating for two years, there’s no word that it was more than just a vacation. We don’t see a ring on Deschanel’s finger.

Another comment reads, “Looks like the perfect place to pop the question.”

Another follower pointed out that Deschanel’s left hand was cropped out of both of the pictures she’s in. Is there more to the story than they’re willing to admit, or was it just a “special trip”? Only time will tell.

If Scott does decide to pop the question, this would not be the first marriage for either of them. Scott was previously married to Kelsy Ully from 2007 to 2010. Deschanel was married two times, first to Ben Gibbard, and then to Jacob Pechenik. She and Pechenik have two children together. She split up with him in 2019, the same year she met and started dating Scott.
