Jonathan Scott Says Meeting Zooey Deschanel Changed His Life Forever
When you’re single, you never know where you’re going to meet your next significant other. It could be when you’re least expecting it. It could be in the most random of places, but chances are you’ll never forget where you met.
“Property Brothers” star Jonathan Scott didn’t know he was going to fall in love when he arrived at the “Carpool Karaoke” set to film a segment for “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” But, that’s exactly what happened.
Scott and his twin brother were on set along with actress Zooey Deschanel and her sister. This was the first time Scott and Deschanel had met. It was just the beginning.
The couple has been together for 2 years now, and they are celebrating the 2-year anniversary of when they first met. Scott shared several photos on Instagram along with the text, “Who knew that two years ago, walking into the Carpool Karaoke offices, I’d meet you and my life will change forever.” He added, “thank you for making everything better @zooeydeschanel.” He ended the caption by writing, “(time really does fly when you’re having the most fun!)”

Deschanel wasn’t as wordy as her beaux, but she honored the occasion on Instagram as well. Along with a sweet picture, she wrote, “2 years and still my favorite.”

Even though the couple has been together for two years, they are not engaged. However, their relationship seems to be going strong. After all, they did survive a pandemic together. They even appeared on an episode of the show “Celebrity IOU” together where the Scott brothers fix up a property for a friend of a celebrity. On this particular episode, Deschanel was the celebrity.
