Since many hair salons were forced to close during the coronavirus pandemic, many people were left trying to figure out how to cut and color their own hair. An at-home haircut can actually look pretty decent if you know what you’re doing, but at-home color is a little bit more complicated.
For some people, color may be optional, such as people who simply would like to change the color of their hair from brown to blond. For people who are trying to hide grey hair, dying their hair may not seem optional.
One hair stylist begs to differ.
Jack Martin helps women embrace going grey. He doesn’t dye their hair a color like black, brown or blond. Instead, he dyes their hair silver, and it’s glorious. Honestly, after scrolling through his Instagram page, we’re almost looking forward to going grey.
The great thing about dying hair grey instead of a completely different color (like brown) is that clients don’t need to get their hair re-dyed nearly as often. Instead of coming in for a touch-up every few weeks, clients only need to visit the salon a couple times a year.
