2020 has been a rough year, to say the least. There were so many businesses that had to let go of employees or even close their doors entirely. While many businesses struggled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some professions that did the opposite: They had an influx of work.

For example, delivery drivers. Thanks to more online shopping than ever, more and more packages had to be delivered. That means overtime galore for people who work for UPS, FedEx, etc.

That can, of course, be pretty exhausting. Delivery drivers spend a huge chunk of their time driving around and leaving packages for people, without getting a proper thank-you. Sometimes, you don’t even see the delivery person leaking the package—they just deliver it and leave. You enjoy the package and they get zero recognition.

But that stops here. One woman named Sarah Kim decided to leave a little thank-you out for her delivery person on a day she knew she’d be receiving a few packages.

In a basket outside of her home was an array of snacks for the package man. It was just simple foods: water bottles, granola bars, candy, etc. A note above the basket read, “Thank you for delivering our packages. Please take any water or snacks — we hope you have a great rest of the day!”

It took little effort on Sarah’s part to create the basket, but something small like this could make someone’s day a million times better. While she noted that she was “a little worried no one would take anything,” to her pleasant surprise, someone did—and was thrilled.

A UPS delivery man’s reaction was caught in the video she just posted to TikTok, which has racked up nearly 375,000 likes and thousands of comments on top of it, talking about how sweet the gesture and reaction were.

The man walks away, snacks in hands, and literally does a happy skip, banging his feet together like a cartoon character. It’s truly the most heartwarming content that you never knew you needed until right now.
