This Simple Hack Found on TikTok Will Easily Clean Those Gross Hard Water Stains on Faucets

Cleaning is something that needs to be done on a regular basis, and we’re pretty good at cleaning most of the things in our home; however, there are some things that are harder to clean than others and some things we didn’t even realize needed to be cleaned.

We’ve learned that the dishwasher filter needs to be cleaned. We’ve also learned that front-load washing machines can have mold hidden inside. Thankfully, we’ve learned easy ways to clean both of these appliances.

When it comes to rooms that require a lot of cleaning, we always think of the bathroom. Hard water stains can be really hard to remove. For example, cleaning the ring inside the toilet bowl and the hard water stains in the toilet was difficult until we learned a TikTok hack.

There’s another place in the bathroom that is covered with hard water stains, but until we watched a video by TikTok user vaneamaro91, we didn’t even know it needed to be cleaned. We’re talking about the bottom of the faucet where the water comes out.

It makes sense that this part of the faucet would be covered in hard water stains, but since we’re usually not looking at the faucet from below, we never saw the stains until we specifically looked for them.

We know you’re thinking about looking at your faucet right now. Before you do, grab some white vinegar, a ziplock bag and a rubber band. That’s all you’ll need to start the cleaning process. Then, watch this TikTok video to see how easy it is to remove hard water deposits from a difficult place to clean like the bottom of a faucet.

TikTok users have shared their shock at how dirty the bottom of their sink faucet was. They had no idea. For example, one TikTok user who is a self-proclaimed clean freak shared that she actually screamed when she saw how dirty her faucet was.

It’s important to note that soaking the faucet in white vinegar won’t do all of the work for you. A little bit of elbow grease with a cleaning toothbrush is necessary, but all of the stains should come off.

If you don’t already have white vinegar, it’s worth buying. Not only is it inexpensive, but it is so helpful when it comes to cleaning.

Are you going to try this faucet cleaning hack? Did you scream when you saw how dirty the bottom of your faucet was?
