Chipotle Will Be Adding a New Meat to Their Menu in Select Locations

Sometimes when we want a quick lunch or we don’t feel like cooking dinner, we turn to fast food. Ideally, we look for fast food that is fairly healthy and is made with fresh ingredients. There aren’t a lot of options in that category, but one of our favorites is Chipotle. When we’re craving healthy Mexican food with fresh ingredients, it’s a winner.

Perhaps you have a favorite item you like to order at Chipotle. Perhaps you usually go for a bowl or a burrito. Perhaps you always add the same ingredients to customize your meal. Are you craving a change? Chipotle hopes you are, and they have something brewing that is making us crave Chipotle more than ever.

For a limited time, Chipotle will be offering a new protein option – smoked brisket. The company has been testing this new protein at restaurant locations in Ohio and California. It performed so well, that they are ready to roll it out nationwide.

According to Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s Chief Marketing Officer, “This isn’t your standard brisket experience. We’ve created a differentiated Smoked Brisket recipe that is authentic to our menu and pairs flawlessly with our real ingredients.”

Chipotle’s culinary team spent 2 years developing the perfect brisket recipe for Chipotle. The final result is perfectly smoked, tender, and seasoned with spices including chipotle chili peppers and fire-roasted jalapenos. They’re not done yet. After the brisket is chopped by hand, it’s finished with a special sauce created just for this brisket.
