Bruce Willis Was Asked to Leave a Los Angeles Rite Aid After Refusing to Wear a Mask

Toward the beginning of the pandemic, Bruce Willis made headlines for quarantining in Idaho with his ex-wife Demi Moore and their three grown children, Scout, Rumer and Tallulah. It was especially notable that Willis’s current wife, Emma Heming did not immediately follow her husband to Idaho. Instead she stayed in Los Angeles with the younger children, Mabel and Evelyn.

Scout later explained why Heming remained in Los Angeles saying that one of her younger sisters had stepped on a hypodermic needle and Heming needed to stay in Los Angeles to wait for results from the doctor. Then, travel became harder and Heming decided to quarantine in Los Angeles instead of going to Idaho as had been the original plan.

Now, Willis is making headlines for refusing to wear a face mask. Page Six reports that Willis was spotted inside a Rite Aid store in Los Angeles without a mask on his face; however, he had a bandana around his neck that he could have easily pulled up to act as a face mask. When he refused, he was asked to leave the store, and he did. Instead of pulling the bandana up over his nose, he left without making a purchase.

In Los Angeles, wearing a face mask inside stores is required. Los Angeles is currently the epicenter of the pandemic in California. According to Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, there have been over 944,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in Los Angeles county and over 12,000 deaths.

Does it surprise you that Bruce Willis would refuse to wear a face mask inside Rite Aid when he could have easily used the bandana he had with him?
