Everyone loves baby pictures, but when those baby pictures are of the newest member of the royal family, well, those are extra special indeed.

Of course, we’re talking about Archie, the first and currently only child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We haven’t seen a lot of baby pictures of the lad, but perhaps that’s about to change.

Harry and Meghan took Archie out for his first meet and greet. After an 11-hour flight to South Africa, Archie had the privilege of going along with mom and dad to meet none other than Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

The new parents shared photos of the meeting on their Instagram account, sussexroyal. The first photo they shared was titled “Arch meets Archie.” The post goes on to read,

This morning The Duke and Duchess were honoured to introduce their son Archie, to Archbishop, Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka.

The Archbishop, a globally respected figure in anti-apartheid movement, is one of the world’s great champions of equality, and has spent his life tirelessly battling injustice.

Their Royal Highnesses have joined The Archbishop and Thandeka to learn more about the work of The Tutu and Leah Legacy Foundation, and see first-hand how they are focussing on global awareness of the critical issues affecting the world.

After the visit, the couple shared another photo, this time in black and white. This time, the text included with the photo was a special message from the Duke and Duchess thanking the Archbishop for the visit.

“Thank you Archbishop Tutu for your incredibly warm hospitality, Archie loved meeting you!’ – The Duke and Duchess”

These are certainly baby pictures that will stand out in Archie’s baby book!
