When you’re Bennifer, everything you do is noteworthy—even just grabbing brunch and a few donuts with your family.
If you don’t know who we’re talking about, it’s celeb couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. For some background, the two dated and got engaged back in 2002, but then called off their wedding, to the dismay of all their fans. They eventually parted ways for good (or so we all thought) two years later, in 2004. The couple was always referred to as “Bennifer,” even years after their separation.
However, love always finds a way. JLo and Affleck eventually made their way back to each other, rekindling their relationship in April 2021 before getting engaged again and, finally, tying the knot on July 16, 2022 in an intimate Vegas ceremony with family and friends (And now they’re more known as “Bennifer 2.0!).
A lot happened within those lost years. Affleck went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner, and the two share three children together: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Lopez, who has been engaged a total of six separate times, share 14-year-old twins, Emme Maribel and Maximilian David, with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Affleck and Garner got divorced in 2018, and, JLo was just breaking off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez when Affleck came back into her life. And now the two are married and doing all kinds of fun things together as a blended family with their kids—including enjoying a lovely brunch one recent afternoon in Santa Monica.
JLo, Affleck and the kids (minus Seraphina) were all seen at Huckleberry Café sharing conversation over some delicious food. Anyone who saw them couldn’t get enough of the two acting affectionate with each other, including JLo scratching Affleck’s head in a loving way, while Violet tried to get his attention.
The whole thing was captured by lucky brunch dwellers also at the café at the same time. After their meal, the two stopped at Dunkin’ Donuts (Affleck has always had an affinity for the popular chain) to grab some treats before parting to each go run their own errands.
