Dough
– 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
– 1/4 cup water, warmed up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit
– 4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 3/4 cup whole milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 egg
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Filling
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1 cup pumpkin butter
Glaze
– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened at room temperature
– 2 cups powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– About 3 tablespoons whole milk
