Personal Pepperoni Pizza Hand Pies

These three ingredient wonders are going to save you on hectic days. Using just store bought crescent rolls, pepperoni, and shredded mozzarella you can have a filling personal pepperoni calzone in 15 minutes. If you have extra time make a bunch on Sunday and heat them up in a toaster oven through out the week for a seriously filling (and seriously delicious) snack. Not a pepperoni fan? Try mushrooms, sausages, pineapple and ham, or whatever your favorite pizza toppings are. You can even add a tablespoon of leftover pasta sauce if you want a little acidity. Or you can do it just like I do. No muss, no fuss, just three ingredients and less time than it takes to go through your Netflix queue.

You will need:

1 package of store bought crescent rolls

3/4 cup shredded mozzarella

1 5oz package pepperoni slices

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. On a parchment lined baking tray roll out the crescent rolls. Using the tines of a fork poke holes in each unrolled crescent.
  2. Top half of the rolls with a single layer of pepperoni, making sure to leave 1/2″ of space on the edges. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the pepperoni.
  3. Take the remaining dough portions and use them to cover the pepperoni and cheese. Use a fork to crimp them closed so they are sealed.
  4. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Eat immediately.
