How to Get a Smooth Finish from Cheap Paint Rollers

Looking for a way to make cheap rollers work just as well as the expensive ones? Here’s a trick to try from Sawdust and Paper Scraps. Simply wrap your new cheap rollers (that you can get cheaply in a 6-pack) with painters tape before you use them. Then when you pull the tape off, you should remove all of the loose hairs that would mess up your painting job. Do this a couple of times, with new tape each time, until the tape comes off clean. Then you’re ready paint more successfully on the cheap!
