– 1 slice lemon
– Juice of half a lemon (about 1 to 1½ tablespoons)
– 1 teaspoon honey
– Pinch cayenne
– Pinch ground ginger
– Pinch ground cloves
– 1 cup hot water
- Combine the lemon juice, honey, cayenne, ginger and cloves in a mug.
- Pour hot water over the mix and stir to combine.
- Top with the lemon slice and enjoy.
You can, obviously, use 1 lemon for both the juice and the lemon slice. This recipe can use the juice of the whole lemon if you like, so adjust according to your personal tastes.
