If you’ve been watching the 2018 Winter Olympics, you’ve probably been mesmerized by all the sports. But chances are you’ve also noticed (and fallen in love with) Adam Rippon, a world-class American figure skater.

Not only is Adam brilliant and enchanting on the ice, but he’s insanely hilarious to boot. Every time he’s being interviewed on screen, he offers his witty banter and we can’t help but wonder why he isn’t doing stand-up comedy.

Well, that’s probably because he helped earn Team USA an Olympic medal in the PyeongChang Games, since he’s extremely good at figure skating and all that, but man. He can definitely cheer up someone in a bad mood with some of his interviews.

1. On his love for Reese Witherspoon

   “I owe this medal a lot to [Reese Witherspoon] and to my mom. But, like, more to Reese in a way, ya know? Because she has more followers on Instagram.”
