Check Out This Amazing 4-Season Tent. This Isn’t Camping; It’s a Tiny House Alternative!

When you think of a tent, you probably imagine a tent that you can easily pitch up and take down whenever you’re going camping. I know I imagine flimsy walls and just enough space inside to fit a sleeping bag or two. But this 4-season tent is not regular tent – it’s actually a tiny house! Deep in Gatineau Park, this completely off-the-grid tiny house can only be reached by foot (snowshoeing/cross country skiing in the winter) or bike. The tent is a “4-season tent” because, as you may have guessed, it’s designed to handle all sorts of weather, from the heat of summer to the snow storms of winter. Watch the video below to check out the impressive features of this alternative home.

The tent is equip with two layers of weather-proof canvas stretched over its wooden frame, a double combustion wood stove for heat, a solar panel to power 1 LED light, and a propane fridge to keep food cool during the summer months.

I like how the tent is seperated. The way they’ve broken up the 15 X 18 foot space into a dining room area, kitchen area, sleeping area, and woodstove/living room space gives the illusion that there are separate rooms in this tiny house.
