1. Organize Your Winter Boots

One of the few bright sides of wintertime is that boot season is back. Thankfully. But as much as we love our boot collection, we hate how taller boots tend to flop over and take up unnecessary closet space.

Prevent this by cutting up some pool noodles and sticking them in your boot! This will keep the shoes upright and declutter your closet significantly.

2. Prevent Cracked Feet

Nothing is worse in the winter that dry, cracked feet. Yuck. Luckily, there’s a way to avoid this winter annoyance overnight! All you have to do is rub Vaseline on your feet, preferably one with cocoa butter in it, then put on a pair of nice fuzzy socks before you go to bed.

This will help lock in all the moisture from the Vaseline and make your feet baby soft when you wake up in the morning.

3. Save Heating Costs

Winter is the season of baking, so why not use your oven in two great way? After you’re finished baking your delicious goodies, turn the oven off and leave the door ajar just a tad.

The heat will leak out of the oven and really help to warm up your house, making everything smell amazing AND saving you some cash on your heating bills.
