Prepare to Be Amazed by This 2-Year-Old Olympic Hopeful

Every time the Olympics comes around, we get to hear the amazing background stories of athletes like Simone Biles, who often have dedicated their childhoods to perfecting their skills. But we don’t think even a marvel like Simone Biles started amazing people as early as Arat Hosseini has. At only two-years-old, Arat has already shown his family and the world that he was meant to be a gymnast. How? Well, only with some gravity-defying feats you couldn’t imagine a toddler was capable of!

Not even at a pre-school age, Arat has demonstrated physical strength and agility that most grown adults don’t have. His parents are obviously extremely proud of their extraordinary son and have helped cultivate his innate gift as he’s grown. Luckily for all of us, they’ve also videotaped their son’s journey and the amazing things he can do.

At first, when this video compilation begins, Arat is standing in front of some soft playing block, ones that you might see a normal little kid crawling on or under. But in one sudden movement, this little boy leaps forward and lands effortlessly on top of the pile.

Pretty impressive, sure. And then he does a back flip off the blocks – and your jaw has probably dropped to the floor, like mine did. After landing from his flip, he takes right to one of the living room walls and scurries up it like he’s Spiderman.

Forget the Olympics, we have a future superhero on our hands here!

Next, Arat shows off his upper body strength. An adults has him hanging from a bar (over a lot of padding and not too far off the ground, thankfully), from which he is hanging by ONE HAND. With the other hand, he is plucking clips off the adults’ face; from his ears, beard, and nose.

As if that wasn’t cool enough, the next frame shows Arat doing a full pull-up, something many fit adults work for months to accomplish. Oh yeah, and he has a weight tied around his neck while he does said pull-up. Whatever.

Arat has also been practicing – with the help of the same adult, who we imagine might be his father – on the bars as well! On a swinging bar, Arat can flip all the way backwards, supporting his twisted body in mid-air with his feet over his head. He hasn’t gotten to the uneven bars yet, but we think we can forgive that somehow.

There’s even a quick shot that shows him doing this with his dad on the playground, and it’s the cutest thing ever! Can you imagine seeing this little boy at recess just hogging the monkey bars and having the time of his life? Adorable.

It’s so clear that his family supports and encourages his dream; they’ve been videotaping him every step of the way, no doubt to showoff their amazing son, but also to potentially launch a gymnastic career before he’s even in school. They’ve even set up little gymnastic studio in their home to help him with all the tumbling he obviously loves to do.

Arat is going to go so far! You can tell gymnastics is something that he was clearly born to do and it’s something that he loves. We’re excited to inevitably see him one day as a future Olympian and cheer him on as he wins gold!
