A British Airways plane scheduled to arrive in Germany not only lands in the wrong city but the wrong Country. The flight was suppose to land in Dusseldorf, Germany but instead landed in Edinburgh, Scotland. The look of horror on the pilots faces when they realized they landed in the wrong country must have been startling.

How does a flight go so wrong? British Airways put the blame on an incorrect flight plan that was filed by WDL Aviation, which operates the flight on behalf of British Airways. The pilots simply followed the flight plan and nothing seemed amiss.

The flight re-fueled in Edinburgh and immediately headed for Duesseldorf.

The passengers on this flight will have a good story to tell friends and family.
