Where to Find Free Fitness Classes

As we’ve written about before, there are many ways to find free yoga classes and other exercise videos online. But to that, some would say they just need to get out there and be in a class environment. Whether you’re not the type who can motivate on their own or you just long for a teacher to be physically present, here are some other options you can try out to enjoy free classes:

Try Checking Out Your Local Library

You may not think that libraries are a place to look for fitness programs, but the truth is that there are a lot of libraries out there with spaces big enough to host things like free yoga class or kick-boxing. Check out your library’s bulletin or do a quick search online to see if something like this may be available to you in your town. If not, consider looking into libraries in surrounding towns.

Athletic Stores Like Lululemon and Niketown

These stores often partner with local athlete and hold free fitness classes in their stores (or nearby at another location). Search athletic stores in your area to see when their next free session is.

Free Trials at Gyms

If you’re searching for a new gym to call home, be sure to try out a few before you make a decision. Many gyms will offer a free class to try out before you sign up for a membership. So get your free classes in before you (in a more informed manner) commit to one of the gyms.
