Imagine this scenario: you are standing at the altar, about to tie the knot with the love of your life. You are wearing the beautiful, white wedding dress of your dreams at the front of an ornate church filled to the brim with your beloved family and friends. All is picture perfect until the minister asks for the ring—and your soon-to-be mate starts to panic…

While there are plenty of ways a wedding could go wrong, we rarely hear about a groom forgetting to bring along what is perhaps the most important item of the day—the ring!

Now, we are sure that it has happened once or twice – if it happened to you, PLEASE share your story! – but in this particular situation, the groom’s aforementioned “panic” is nothing more than fabulous acting skills.

You see, the star of today’s viral video is none other than Stuart Kettell, a prankster and all-around “good guy” who is known for his elaborate stunts, including pushing a Brussel sprout up a mountain with his nose to raise awareness for cancer research. Well, he certainly is creative!

When the Coventry, England resident decided that it was time for him to marry his partner, Vicky, he knew that he couldn’t just utter a simple “I do.”

“People would have been expecting me to do something on my wedding day, so I knew I had to think of something,” Kettell tells Express.

A known prankster gets married

Kettell says that he had been planning this elaborate prank almost as long as he and his now-wife had been planning the actual ceremony. For help in pulling it off, he recruited his best man, as well as that serious-looking minister.

After dashing out of the church in mock terror, a projector screen dropped down behind the altar, showing wedding guests a hilarious video of Kettell sprinting around town, trying to get to his bride’s ring as quickly as possible.

The journey takes him through uproarious scenarios, where he is seen riding in the back of a tractor, dodging a mob of angry sheep, and even expertly jumping on a pogo stick!

“I filmed it all week before the wedding, it was really fun and the guests loved it, it was a real talking point of the day,” Kettell remembers.
