Military couple Sebastian and Ashley were married eight months ago at their local courthouse, wearing jeans and t-shirts. Just in the weeks before, Ashley had been diagnosed with Autoimmune Disorder, which caused her to be covered in giant welts on her wedding day.

Her husband still told her what he said every day: she was the most beautiful woman in the world.

Right after their wedding, Sebastian was deployed and has been overseas for the past eight months. The newlyweds were reunited in Waikiki, which would already be a romantic and wonderful moment for them, but Ashley had something special planned.

The two were going to meet on a dock over the beautiful Pacific ocean, and meet they did! But Ashley was bringing something unexpected: her wedding gown. In the eight months they were married, Sebastian had never seen his wife’s wedding gown because of the circumstances under which they got married.

So without him knowing, Ashley dressed as she would have for a traditional wedding. She did her hair and makeup beautifully and got into her gorgeous, strapless wedding dress to go meet her love.

And how did she do it? In the most romantic way ever, of course.

Ashley asked Sebastian to meet her on a seaside dock, over the beautiful foaming water and under the gloriously setting sun. And, naturally, she had Sebastian turn around for more suspense. With a photographer and videographer on hand to capture ever moment, Ashley walked down the dock as if she was walking down the aisle.

The newlywed groom probably knew the moment was going to be captured on film, considering that this was this big reunion moment, but he still had no way to prepare for what he was about to see.

When Sebastian turned around, obviously excited to see his wife, the look on his face says it all. There are few ways to describe it in words, so you’ll have to watch the video below to really experience the full extent of his reaction. But let’s just say, it’s clear that he truly believes he is married to the most beautiful woman in the world.
