If you think you’ve found “the one” and want to propose or are hoping the other person will pop the question, nothing is more enticing than a recipe for success. One recipe called “Marry Me Chicken” implies that it’s so good that whoever eats it will love it, and perhaps even want to marry you because of it.

This chicken recipe was posted on TikTok and quickly went viral. The recipe is fairly easy and looks delicious. It’s described as a quick recipe that’s perfect for a weeknight meal, and it does look fairly quick and easy to make. In addition, everything is made in one pan, so there’s not a lot of clean up afterwards either.

According to the viral video, you start with raw chicken breasts. Season them with salt and pepper and coat them with flour before pan frying them in a pan coated with oil.

After the chicken is cooked, it’s time for the sauce which is cooked in the same pan the chicken was cooked in. Set the chicken to the side and add 1 tbsp butter, 1/4 cup minced onions, and 3 or 4 minced garlic cloves to the pan. Once they’ve caramelized, add 1 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup chicken broth, 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, and 1/2 cup red pepper flakes. Cook and stir the ingredients in the pan, and then put the chicken back in the pan and garnish with basil.

It certainly looks impressive, and it has been shared more than 173,000 times. The recipe also has 752,000 likes.

While many people seem to love this easy chicken recipe, in the comments, many viewers have pointed out that this is basically the same recipe as Tuscan chicken. And other viewers claim the chicken needs more seasoning.
