Here’s How to Make Decadent Strawberry Cookies

Few things scream Valentine’s Day quite like chocolate dipped strawberries. This sweet, decadent treat has been a symbol of this romantic holiday since the 1960’s, and its developed some loving connotations ever since. There’s just something about a juicy, red strawberry dipped in rich dark chocolate to really set a romantic mood!

If you want to emulate that iconic taste of strawberries and chocolate without making the traditional dessert itself, we have the perfect compromise for you. These strawberry chocolate cookies take all the best parts of our favorite chocolate-dipped berries and bake them into moist, chewy cookies.

Nothing against fruit, but if we can enjoy chocolate-dipped strawberries in warm amazing cookies, we’re all in.

Besides the delicious flavor packed into these cookies, we love the way they look, too! They come out a beautiful light pink color with chunks of dark and white chocolate that really pop. You’ve never seen a more Instagram-worthy batch of cookies — especially with a recipe that’s so easy.

On top of that, you only need a few simple ingredients to make these gorgeous cookies. As if you needed another reason to make this lovable dessert.

Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Note: if you don’t have white chocolate chips, you can replace them with semi-sweet chocolate chips or any chips you have. We’re partial to a mix of chips, especially if you have white and dark chips. Dark chocolate chips work well if you’re used to dipping your strawberries in this richer variety (like we do) and the white chocolate chips just make the pale pink pop.
