Disney Has Released Toy Story Land’s Grilled Cheese So You Can Make It Yourself
The magical Disney parks were among one of the first large venues to close amid the COVID-10 pandemic. So many trips to the magical land of Disney—postponed until further notice.
Besides the characters and rides at the parks, one of the best parts of the place, arguably, is the food they serve. Seriously, if you’ve never tried their famous churro bites or Dole Whip, you’re missing out!
Luckily, Disney understands that most people are spending their quarantine in their kitchens getting creative with all kinds of recipes. And what better way to bring the magic of Disney into the kitchen than by whipping up some of their famed snacks?
That’s right, the brand launched a blog called Disney Magic Moments where they share everything from stories to video activities and of course, you guessed it, recipes! Their churro bites and Dole Whip are both on there—and the Dole Whip only has three ingredients! What a time to be alive.
Disney has recently just added another amazing recipe to the list: Toy Story Land’s grilled cheese. The Toy Story land version, which you can get on a normal basis at Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is a cheesy, gooey, delightful take on your basic grilled cheese.
The secret to the deliciousness? Three types of cheese: double Gloucester or cheddar, provolone and cream cheese. They also use artisan bread, plus a mixture of heavy cream, mayonnaise, garlic and salt for the garlic spread inside.
Um, no wonder why it tastes so magical.
If you’re smacking your lips right now, you’re going to want to head over to their Magic Moments website where they’ve laid out careful instructions, and make the recipe ASAP. It’s a pretty simple recipe—and is sure to please any palate in your house—from kids to teens and adults, too.
Don’t forget to serve your grilled cheese with a cup of tomato soup—just the way they do at Disney!
If you make any of the recipes on their website and share it to your social media, Disney just asks that you use the hashtag #DisneyMagicMoments along with the photo. And don’t forget to keep heading back to their blog for more recipes that keep coming out.
In addition, be sure to check out the other ways you can bring the magic of Disney to the comfort of your home. The website has tons of ways to entertain kids while they’re out of school.
Have you ever had the grilled cheese at Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney? What Disney recipe will you be recreating at home while sheltering in place?
