If you love iced coffee, you’re going to want to try this “Magic Coffee” recipe found by Food52. The cinnamon and brown sugar in this cold brew give it a nice sweetness with the perfect touch of spice.
Here’s what you need to create the coffee base:
- 2/3 cup coarsely ground coffee
- 3 cup of water
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp dark brown sugar
Stir all of the ingredients in a quart jar, then cover and refrigerate overnight. The next day, pour the coffee base through a sieve or strainer into a bowl. Then strain it back into a jar for storage in the fridge.
When you want to make your coffee, fill a tall glass halfway with ice. Then pour in the coffee until your glass is 3/4 full. Add in milk or cream as desired, and enjoy!
