11 Things That Should Never Have Been Peeled And Will Now Haunt Me
Without getting preachy or health-conscious about the merits of eating fruit peels, we are going to talk about peeled items. And no, there won’t be an instructional video on how to remove the skin from something.
As much as we love to share info on the best way to crack open a pomegranate and the like, things are going in a different direction today. There are pieces of fruit and other objects you’d rather not see naked, and with good reason. But to drive home that point, we’re providing photographic evidence.
Bear with us. In case you did not know, some your favorite foods in the fruit category get totally skinned for reasons beyond their control – and they ain’t oranges or bananas. Some are used in smoothie recipes, some are used as Halloween props, and judging by the looks of some of these photos, some are used as visual torture, much to the delight of the person who peeled them.
And then we have everyday objects whose coats we take for granted. Some part of you may have wondered what lurked underneath their outer layers, and now you will find out.
Be warned that some of the images below may make you uncomfortable, curious, or full of giggles. You may not be ready to see these things in all their naked glory.

De-veined & Unclothed Darling Clementine
You almost feel sorry for it and don’t want to eat it. Am I right?
It appears that some people have a lot of time on their hands in order to produce these results. We hope your thoughts and dreams are able to stay untainted by these sights. We also hope that none of you aspire to devote your time to skinning, butchering, defacing, or undressing any foods or other defenseless items for the heck of it.
You may wind up seeing something you never really wanted to see.
Which of these pics did a number on you? Have you ever unnecessarily de-skinned a piece of fruit in the name of science (or to be creepy)? What object would you like to see completely uncovered?
