Man, this mom is in trouble! Jaqi Clements’ girls are just eight years old, and they’re already being called the most gorgeous twins in the world. In fact, they earned the title a long time ago—when they were just little babies! Here’s how their story begins…
Identical twins Ava Marie and Leah Rose Clements were born on July 7, 2010. Whenever Jaqi would go out in public with them, she’d be flooded with people commenting on their beauty—even as young as two months old. The sparkling blue eyes and blonde peach fuzz for hair just suited them so well.
“For as long as I can remember strangers would approach me when we were out asking first if they were twins,” she said. “Their follow up would always be…’Wow they are so beautiful, you should really think about getting them into modeling.’”
And so she thought about it. And when the twins were just six months old, she decided to sign the girls into a modeling agency. However, she felt a bit overwhelmed and retracted it; she just didn’t feel as though it was the right time. Her first born son was hitting the terrible twos and with the twins being so young, it felt like too much.
“Aside from the fact that I’m a huge believer in signs and have been told by almost everyone that 7 is a lucky number, I just had a feeling that this year was going to be a fun and exciting year for them,” she said.
So Jaqi did what moms with model daughters do in this day and age: She started the girls an Instagram account called @clementstwins. She thought it would get the girls a bit of attention, but was floored with just how much they actually got. Currently, the page has more than 700,000 followers and is continuously growing!
clementstwins via InstagramNot soon after starting the page, Jaqi reached out to a few modeling agencies, and heard back from every single one. It’s no doubt everyone can’t get enough of these girls’ stunning beauty!
Jaqi finally bit the bullet and signed the girl with two different modeling agencies. Since then, the girls have won contracts with various children’s clothing brands and magazines. They once shot six jobs in just one week. Did we mention they’re also on a dance and swim team? These eight-year-olds are busier than most adults—and they absolutely love it!
We know what you’re thinking: What about the son we mentioned earlier? Don’t worry, he’s pretty handsome himself, and has also been signed to the same agencies. He makes appearances on the Instagram account from time to time as well, as does Jaqi.
