The Easiest Chocolate Croissants You’ll Ever Make

Some of my favorite guilty pleasures in the world are those treats that can qualify as both breakfast and dessert. Chocolate croissants are one of those magical pastries. This recipe that we learned over at BuzzFeed couldn’t be easier to work with. And best of all, if you’ve still got leftover candy lingering from Halloween, Christmas or Valentine’s Day, you can use it up in the most delicious way with these chocolate croissants. Here’s how you make ’em:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then grab a tube of ready-made crescent roll dough.

2. Unroll the dough and separate into 8 pieces.

3. Grab whatever leftover chocolate candies you have (BuzzFeed uses Rolos, mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, and Hershey’s Kisses, but feel free to let your imagination run wild with this). Place the candy on the larger sides of the dough pieces.

4. Roll the dough into crescents, completely covering the chocolate candy.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until croissants are golden brown and chocolate has melted. Allow to cool slightly and enjoy warm!
