1. There’s a Schedule for When Target Marks Down It’s Prices
And here it is:
Monday: kids’ clothing, electronics, accessories, books, baby items and stationary
Tuesday: women’s clothing, pets, domestics, and market food items
Wednesday: health and beauty, diapers, lawn/garden items, men’s clothing and furniture
Thursday: housewares, shoes, lingerie, toys, sporting goods, decor and luggage

2. The Price Tag Tells You How Much the Markdown Is
The lower left of the clearance tag shows the original price while the small numbers in the upper right hand corner tell you the percentage taken off for the markdown.
3. If the Price Tag Ends in $0.06 or $0.08, There Will Be Another Markdown
As long as there is inventory left, these items will remain on clearance for about two weeks and will be marked down further.
4. You Can Return Purchases by Mail for Free
All you have to do is go to the online return center and print out a prepaid return label. Then Target will pay for the return shipping fees.
5. They’ve Got a Sweet Price Matching Policy
If you find an item in a competitor’s ad, bring it in to Target and they’ll match the advertised price.
6. Target Has Mobile Coupons Sent to Your Phone
You don’t have to clip coupons for Target – they can be sent directly to your phone and used without having to print. Just sign up here.
7. You Can Also Get Coupons Through the App
The free Target app gets 10 or more new coupons per week, so just check out your app before or during shopping. Then hand your phone to the cashier to reap the savings.
8. Request a Raincheck
If there’s an item on sale that you want but it ran out, you can simply request a rain check from Guest Services. Then whenever the item is restocked, you can purchase it at the sale price.
