When we think of art we often think of paintings or drawing, maybe even sculptures. We don’t often think of makeup as a form of art, but it certainly is. It really is incredible how a talented makeup artist can transform a face to look not just better but even like a different person.

We’ve never recognized makeup as an art form more than we did when we first saw the photos that makeup artist Tal Peleg posts on Instagram. Peleg uses her eyelids as if they are canvases. She creates incredible miniature paintings using makeup.

Peleg shared with Bored Panda that she has enjoyed painting on her eyelids for a long time. She started out by painting fairy tales and animals, but as time went by, she branched out and got more detailed with her artwork.

For Peleg, painting on eyelids is a way of combining her love for art and makeup into one gorgeous and impressive art form all its own. Scroll down to see her unusual talent for yourself.
