Allison Holker’s heart is still “aching.” She shared a picture of herself with her late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss. Boss was the DJ on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” In December 2022, months after the show’s last episode aired, he committed suicide.

Holker captioned her recent post, “My ONE and ONLY Oh how my heart aches. We miss you so much.”

Not only did Boss leave behind his wife, but he also left behind their children, 3 year old Zaia, 6 year old Maddox, and Holker’s daughter from a previous marriage, 14 year old Weslie, who Boss adopted.

Unfortunately for Holker, not only does she have to deal with living live as a single mom without her “one and only,” she also has to fight for control of Boss’ estate. It turns out that he didn’t have a will.

ET reports that Holker filed a California Spousal Property Petition in Los Angeles. This is a routine way of a spouse proving that they are in fact the deceased person’s spouse. On the petition, Holker requested Boss’ half of Stephen Boss Productions and a Goldman Sachs investment account. In addition, she requested to receive Boss’ royalties from Cast and Crew Production Services, Disney Worldwide Services, Inc., GEP Talent Services, LLC, and SAG/AFTRA. She also requested “determination of property passing to the surviving spouse” and “confirmation of property belonging to the surviving spouse.”

Before his death, Boss used to post videos of himself dancing with his wife and his kids. Holker recently reposted one of these dance videos and captioned it “Our love language.”

According to a source who spoke to ET, “Allison is making sure that all the kids know how much their daddy loves them, that he is still with them and his spirit is still flourishing, that this has nothing to do with them, and that they can do things to help keep his spirit alive.”

In another post that included a series of family photos, Holker wrote, “To my husband, best friend, babe, Chee-chalker, Superman and father of my children I LOVE YOU FOREVER and ALWAYS! We will forever remember you as the true beacon of light that you were and we will continue to cast your light and love throughout the world.”

Does it surprise you that Boss would commit suicide without having a will?
