Southwest Airlines is known for surprising budget-savvy travelers with amazing flight deals throughout the year. Well folks, it’s time for another one!

If you are in the market for a trip during the next few months, you’ll want to check out their semi-annual fare sale that’s going on from October 2 to October 4 at 11:59 pm (your purchasing time zone). You can score low fares for winter travel with one-way rates as low as $49.

Prices for longer flights jump up to $79, $99, or $129 each way, depending on your departure city and destination. But bargain hunters beware the fine print, as there are a few restrictions in place for this sale including the fact that these rates are for nonrefundable, nonstop flights only.

Act quickly and you may even be able to jump on an international deal, just be sure to check the days of travel. If you’re interested in snatching up one of these deals, look for availability based on days of the week.

Weekend domestic travel is excluded from the sale for Fridays and Sundays, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a nice weekend getaway. This is one of the airline’s biggest yearly promotions, with the other taking place in June, and luckily, you can combine this deal with other Southwest specials.
