This pet owner started to notice that whenever anyone would sing in his house, his German Shepard, Maximus, would started to sing along with them! Or, well, howl along with them. So he set out to catch Maximus’ singing skills on tape. And, luckily for us, he did! If this German Shepard’s beautiful singing voice doesn’t get you through the afternoon, I don’t know what will. Watch the video below to hear the duet for yourself.

Max’s owner starts out by singing Eduard Khil’s popular song “Trolololo” (which is basically like the Russian Rickroll for anyone unfamiliar with the trolling meme and song) for his dog to hear. Max looks interested, but doesn’t do much.

But quickly, as the song progresses, Max’s ears start to perk up, his head starts to lift, and he starts to look gradually intrigued. Like he can feel the music compelling him, maybe.

And finally, we hear his little growl. It starts off quietly, but about 25 seconds into the video it really picks up! At first, I had no idea where the sound was coming from, but then Max throws his head back and really starts to join in with his owner!

Now that is one talented pooch.
