We’re big fans of tiny houses around here. We know, we know—everyone dreams of one day owning a massive mansion with a walk-in closet, gourmet kitchen, and your choice of 12 relaxing tubs to choose from, right?

Not us! We love the quaint, cozy feel of the elusive tiny home. Besides that, tiny homes save you money and force you to really focus on the important things in life. You may not be able to fit 12 tubs in a tiny home, but you can surely make use of your space.

The latest tiny home we’re obsessing over is truly a work of art. If anyone believes you can’t make a tiny home into your dream abode, you’re going to need to keep reading.

A bit of background: The house we’re about to show you was built by Mary Susan Hanson, Randy Hanson, and their daughter Melodie Aho,l who launched their company “Olive Nest Tiny Homes” in 2017.

“We’re a small company and we do about one house a year,” Aho explained. “We sell only what’s already built, and we think of each design as a piece of art that you can live in.”

Well, this year was the year all tiny home dreams came true. They built “Elsa,” a tiny home with its very own greenhouse and porch with a pergola and a swing. The entire is comprised of Scandinavian décor elements, give a modern, yet cozy vibe.

“The look is simple and earthy,” Aho says. “We’re of Scandinavian heritage and are drawn to Scandinavian style and design.”

Elsa’s exterior consists of a standing-seam metal and cedar shiplap. The greenhouse has glass walls and cedar decking. And the interior is something out of a Scandinavian magazine—truly.

In fact, besides the tasteful décor, it also doesn’t look half as small as you’d imagine it would inside. The secret? A total of 14 windows in the 323-square-foot home.

“We used lots of windows and kept the ceiling high for an open, airy look,” Aho says.

In addition, the home has everything you’d ever need: A full, gorgeous kitchen (complete with a breakfast bar that can double as a workspace), a sleeping loft that fits a queen-sized bed, and the coziest living room we’ve ever seen.

If this doesn’t make you want to pack up your current residence for a stylish tiny home like Elsa, then we don’t know what will.
