Recipes for Two – A Romantic Five-Course Meal
The following is a guest post from our friends over at RecipeLion.
There are very few things that are more romantic than a home cooked meal. The amount of effort it takes to prepare an entire meal for any special occasion makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable. The both of you could go out to eat and while that would be nice, it is not the same as spending the evening alone together with a meal the two of you prepared yourselves. RecipeLion.com would like to help you in your preparation for this lovely evening by giving you a guide to create the perfect five course meal. Whether you are making a Valentine’s Day meal or just decide to plan something special one night, let us help you with the cooking.
The first course of the night is an Easy Creamy Lobster Bisque from Jenny Steffens Hobick. This bisque is so creamy and delightful you will want to stop the meal right then and there. You won’t believe you could have anything else that could top the bisque AND have it taste so good. (Don’t worry though, you won’t be saying “no” to the following incredible recipes for two).
The second course of the night is a Pear, Blue Cheese, and Candied Pecan Salad from Table For Two. This salad just screams romance! Plus, it tastes delicious as well. The sugar and nuttiness from the pecans pairs perfectly with the sweetness from the pears and they both match very well with the earthiness of the blue cheese. This salad is just superb!
The third course is an appetizer. It is Bruschetta with Tomato and Basil from With A Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart. You can never go wrong with a bruschetta for a romantic evening. If you purchase all fresh ingredients then this becomes one of the all time greatest recipes for two.
The fourth course is the entree. It is an incredible Quick Chicken Parmigiano recipe from your friends at Recipe Lion. A chicken parm recipe is a classic romantic dinner dish and a dish that you and your loved one will enjoy eating.
The fifth and final course is the best course of all: dessert! For dessert we have a Chocolate Lava Cake with Salted Caramel from The Endless Meal. Once you see the amazing river of creamy and rich chocolate flow out of this decadent cake you won’t be able to even eat it! Who are we kidding, of course you’ll eat it because this cake is to die for. This is one of the best recipes for two because it is something sweet that both you and your sweetie can share together.
In a five course meal, what is your favorite of the courses?
