Everything about it – from the can’t-believe-it-works frosting technique to the finished product – just blows our minds. Just LOOK at it!

You’ll Need

–Candy canes and sticks in all shapes, colors and sizes
–Clear and light blue rock candy
Vanilla Cake Batter
–2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
–3 teaspoons baking powder
–1 1/3 cups sugar
–1/2 teaspoon salt
–1/2 cup butter
–1 cup low-fat (1%) milk
–1 teaspoon vanilla
–2 eggs
Royal Icing
–4 cups icing sugar
–3 level tablespoons meringue powder
–5 to 6 tablespoons water
Vanilla Buttercream
–1 cup butter
–8 cups icing sugar
–1 tablespoon vanilla extract
–4 to 6 tablespoons milk
