Everything about it – from the can’t-believe-it-works frosting technique to the finished product – just blows our minds. Just LOOK at it!

You’ll Need

– Candy canes and sticks in all shapes, colors and sizes
– Clear and light blue rock candy
Vanilla Cake Batter
– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 3 teaspoons baking powder
– 1 1/3 cups sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup butter
– 1 cup low-fat (1%) milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla
– 2 eggs
Royal Icing
– 4 cups icing sugar
– 3 level tablespoons meringue powder
– 5 to 6 tablespoons water
Vanilla Buttercream
– 1 cup butter
– 8 cups icing sugar
– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
– 4 to 6 tablespoons milk
