She Crushes Up Cheez-Its. How She Uses the Crumbs Is So Clever!
Sometimes, when we’re looking for a snack to serve at a get-together, we really just want the easiest thing possible. So when we find an idea that’s easy, seasonal, and adorable, it’s pretty much the best thing ever. This one from Rebecca Brand combines two of favorite things – cheese and fall – for an easy appetizer everybody’s sure to love.
You’ll Need
– 2 cups Cheez-Its
– 1 cup finely-grated cheddar cheese
– 1 cup cream cheese
– 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
– Pretzel sticks, snapped in half
How To
- Mix together the cheddar cheese, cream cheese and mayo.
- Put the Cheez-Its in a bag and crush them. Pour out the crushed Cheez-Its onto a plate.
- Take a tablespoon of the cheese mixture and use your hands to shape it into a ball.
- Coat the ball in the crushed Cheez-It crumbs. Stick in a pretzel stick and, if you like, some cilantro to complete the pumpkin look.
So easy to make! I love how this idea combines the look of fall with the year-long delight of cheese. What do you think of them? Have you ever made anything like these pumpkin cheese balls before?
