Powerful DIY Grease-Cutting Floor Cleaner

What’s the most high-traffic room in your home? In ours, it’s the kitchen. The kitchen floor goes through a whole lot throughout the course of a week. From the small spills we don’t immediately notice to the grease that inevitably accumulates from cooking up a storm, our kitchen floors are frequently in need of some love and care. If you’re looking for a great homemade cleaner that will tackle your messiest floors, look no further than this great recipe we found from One Good Thing by Jillee.

Here’s What You Need:

1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp liquid dish soap
1/4 cup washing soda
2-3 gallons very warm tap water

Here’s What You Do:

Add all ingredients to a big bucket and mix well until nice and sudsy. Soak a mop with the cleaner and mop the dirty area. That’s all there is to it! There won’t be any soapy residue after it dries. You’ll just be left with beautiful grease-free floors.
