Here’s how you can get the look:

STEP 1: Always start with a leave-in conditioner! Especially if you have highlights or any color in your hair. Spray the conditioner all over until your hair is damp.
STEP 2: Part your hair and pin most of your hair back, starting just with a chunk of hair at the front of your head. Braid this first chunk tightly, very close to your head. Finish this first braid by securing with a clear elastic.
STEP 3: Bring the rest of your hair onto the same side as your first braid. If you have hair that is all one length, begin braiding the rest of your hair into one giant braid.
STEP 4: If you have layers, keep your hair together by braiding your shorter strands into one braid that you can then incorporate into your larger braid. Secure this giant braid with a clear elastic.
STEP 5: Loosen up your braid and give it a final spray with conditioner to make sure everything is locked in!

The only tools you really need for this adorable hairstyle? Any leave-in conditioner and some clear elastics, which you can get for cheap at most drugstores. It’s that simple.
